    I experienced the “oil slick” problem, too, and was about to scrap the case for a new one, when I noticed the baby powder remedy mentioned by the last reviewer. I first cleaned the inside of the case with rubbing alcohol and a fiberless dusting cloth. After drying it thouroughly, I put on a little bit of bath powder (the kind with corn starch in it) with my finger and pushed it around the inside surface of the case. I then used the same cloth to completely remove all of the powder, and put the case back together. It worked PERFECTLY, no more oil slick!

    I give this product four stars because it needed a “fix” right out of the box, and also because the holes do allow a dust and fibers inside, but other than that, this is a pretty good case.

    I recently purchased a Case-Mate Naked Case for iPhone 3G & 3G S for my iPhone 3G S 32GB. Of course, I loved it until one day I took it off and left a DEEP scratch. It almost went through my iPhone! So now I have to spend my hard-earned money on an Otter-Box Defender Case and a guy who can remove the scratch. If you are wondering how the scratch was caused, a piece of debris flew in there (debris will ALWAYS get in the case) and scratched the damn thing. WARNING: This case is a waste of $30.00 and WILL cause permanent scratches (other bad reviews like this included).

    Nice clear protective case. However, cleaning under the screen protector is a pain but you will have this problem with any good case if your a clean freak like me but I like the attached protector which is pretty durable just wipe off with microfibre cloth and it looks almost new all over again. But the best thing is being able to actually see the color iPhone that you bought and not only seeing a cover. Nice product
